Can you think of another science that performs puja to the Hindu god Ganesh? Yet the "scientific" Transcendental Meditation performs this traditional Hindu sacrament to "remove obstacles" -- if you can afford the thousands they charge as a fee.
Wow! Can you imagine how rich physicist Stephen Hawking would be if he charged for a little ritual before he made his latest pronouncement on dark matter?
I wonder if public school children who participate in David Lynch's TM Quiet Time program will be given handy reminders like this one I received via email yesterday?
