TM Hires IT Company for Big Push in India

If I had been a little quicker on the draw, I had intended to post a series of predictions about where Transcendental Meditation was headed after the Maharishi's death. One was that they would try various marketing moves like dropping prices, time-limited offers, and the like.

Well, I kind of got beat to the punch on that one with Hagelin's recent announcements.

Another prediction I would have made was that there will be big pushes to gin up initiations.

This article hints at just that. Seems MVED has just hired a information technologist firm, with a speciality in telepresence, to broadcast unspecified courses over the Internet to India.

For certain, they will teach the Vedic courses they have been teaching for years. But will they also start initiating and teaching sidhis over the Internet?

Oh, another prediction. TM Orgs will begin to de-emphasize the sidhis.
