The Beach Boys are going to be playing Fairfield on Labor Day, according to a story in yesterday's Fairfield Ledger. The venue? The luxury seating of the fields at Fairfield Middle School.
The concert will be co-sponsored by, among others, the David Lynch Foundation, current promoters of Transcendental Meditation in public schools.
There's no word yet as to whether or not this event is going to be another benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation, similar to the "Change Begins Within" engagement at Radio City featuring two former Beatles last April.
We hear also that the Beach Boys are down to only two original members, Mike Love and Bruce Johnston.
